Looking forward to the next great project and that just may be you!
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, I began my career in the music industry at the age of 19 when I became actively involved with street marketing for Tony Lucca, a solo artist hailing from L.A. I became passionate about promoting music and wanted to do more, so I decided to team up with a management company to help promote a young up and coming pop group from Toronto. With much dedication I aided them in developing a strong fan base of extremely dedicated fans.
Ready for the next step in my career, I enrolled into the Harris Institute for the Arts, where I completed the Recording Arts Management Program with honours. Living the life of an intern for a year, I was hired as the National Publicist at an independent radio promotions and publicity company. In 2006, using my education and connections within the music industry, I embarked on an entrepreneurial venture and became a freelance publicist.
In 2010, with a one-way ticket in hand, I made my way to southern Italy and settled in Cosenza (Calabria). On top of freelance writing for various blogs and sites, I've been teaching English in a private language school for the past 5 years. I have also done translation and voice-over work for marketing campaigns and websites in the fields of telecommunications, culture and food.
Even though life can get busy, I always find time to sit down with a good book or visit new places. I believe we have to be open to new experiences because through those moments we continue to grow and learn, not only about ourselves but the world around us!
