I was born in Santa Barbara, California, and moved to Guadalajara, Mexico in 1968.
Because I lived, studied and worked in both countries as an adult, I have a full command of both languages, including, but not limited to business acumen, idioms, and slang. I am also fully bi-cultural, understanding differences in oral and written communications used in both cultures.
I possess extensive experience translating documents ranging from 2,000 to 40,000 words. Documents have been translated using MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Normally, my clients provide English source document in Microsoft document. I translate the text and keep the formatting and any images source document may have.
If assignment is urgent, or requires weekend work, the rate will be slightly higher.
