I have a paralegal certification from University of Texas and have 3 years of experience as a legal assistant and entry paralegal for a small intellectual property firm. This position has allowed me to become familiar with the domestic and international IP prosecution procedures and train in docketing system management and best practices. I specialize in working with AppColl - Intellectual Property Management Software, however I am able and willing to learn any software your practice utilizes.
My educational foundation is in the natural sciences, horticulture, geography and environmental conservation. I am skilled in Spanish language conversational speaking, writing, reading and translation. My average typing speed is approximately 60 WPM. I have experience with work that involves navigation and coordination across multiple software applications, such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Docusign, Adobe Acrobat and Harvest timekeeping app. I am highly detail oriented and inquisitive, leaving no stone unturned or question unanswered.
Work Terms
Work hours available: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm CST
Payment terms: Paid upon completion of project if less than a week. Weekly compensation for hours worked if project lasts more than a 40 hour work week.
