Worked for 3 years in the telecommunications industry in same genre of work resolving failing systems, controls and general business overhaul/troubleshooting! Reducing finance accounts receivable DSO (days standing over) by 5 days within industry guidelines associated with risk.
Joined a global recruitment agency seeking new challenges to become their risk specialist for Europe middle east and Africa, requiring my living in Switzerland and travelling significantly! Managing, reviewing and implementing local changes within each country both on a regular monthly review and circa 8 month stints re new business and or system changes. All key areas subject to global, European, local and sarbanes oxley guidelines! Reduced the accounts receivable debt over 18 countries by circa 5 million dollars and back in line with global and competitive figures. Turned around 4 failing new system implementations. Implemented new controls for recruitment both internally and for on-site placements resulting in crack down on illegitimate staffing. Identifying ways of running day to day business more economically. Consulting re local/global audit guidelines and legislation for improved controls, staffing and processes.
