I use statistics and mathematics to solve problems in education, health, and business. I am an expert at statistical modeling, machine learning/deep learning, secondary research (literature reviews, systematic review, meta-analysis), impact evaluations, and computer programming.
My career started at ANALYTICA, Inc., a small private research firm focused on using statistics and scientifically valid research methodologies to study education, public policy, social science, and health care. While at ANALYTICA, Inc., I was able to deliver our clients insights in the form of peer-reviewed publications, technical reports, and presentations. I also built tools and instruction manuals as well as designed trainings to help clients independently conduct valid research. Our clients spanned the public, private, and non-profit sectors and they operated on the local, state, and national level. Some of the clients I worked closest with were: Chesapeak Research Associates, Responsive Classrooms, The Campbell Collaboration, ABT Associates, Plus Alpha Research Consulting, The Mississippi Department of Education, US Department of Education, the Maryland Department of Education, AT&T, Edvance, and various professors from departments of education in universities across the country.
After leaving ANALYTICA, I went to work for Juvo, a growing company that provides education and behavior support to individuals on the autism spectrum. At Juvo, I was responsible for managing the practice management and clinical software for behavior therapist and clinicians. Outside of this responsibility I was often called on to create clinical reports using the "hard to fetch" data that didn't fit into the main data pipelines.
Over the past five years I have been doing work as an independent consultant running statistical analysis and conducting secondary research in the fields of education, health, and business.
