Hard work and passion in bilingual setting

My adventure with writing and translation started 26 years ago when I participated in an International Writing Program at the University of Iowa.
The second most important influence on my perspective as a translator occurred during my two year exposure to life in Israel, where I experienced the Hebrew language along with the Semitic culture. The miracle of the revival of Hebrew, which had been a dead language for almost nineteen centuries until Israel came to life again in 1948, began to open my mind to the Semitic way of perceiving the world and expressing our emotions. Hebrew is rich in images, comparisons and metaphors that are rooted in this mentality. Below is my work history:

a) Ex-Academic teacher or writing courses, lecturer, translator, freelance writer.
b) Previous jobs:
Polonia University in Czestochowa (2000-2003) at the faculty - (ITTK) - (Institute of translations of texts and the conferences).
c) Academia Wielkopolska – I won the contest to teach an intensive course of English sponsored by EU funds for education.
d) (2003-2008) worked for six years at ATH (University of Technology and Humanities) in Bielsko-Biala, Faculty of Humanities , the Department of English Philology.
e) Interpreting (2007, Polish-English and English-Polish): training for employees Enersys SA. (BB Street. Leszczynska) which was conducted by the American company. The training concerned the operation of automated wastewater treatment plant and its maintenance. Translation included vocabulary in the subject areas of chemistry and machine technology.
f) (2007/08) teaching a preparatory business course for Coca-Cola company workers.
g) 2010 – 2015 –a freelancer and an owner of a registered in Poland small translation company for the purposes of freelance writing, translation and proofreading.

Work Terms

I work on as needed basis both hourly and in fixed price jobs. I'm a very good communicator as I'm online most of the day. I can make my email and skype communicator available if asked for.
