Quality coding - challenges welcome
I've been dealing with computers since young age. I didn't really consider IT as a career before I came to a "crossroads" careerwise, though I have always been actively doing all kinds of stuff with computers in my free time.
I've studied agriculture, I've worked as a stable hand and as a delivery driver in a few companies. I did enjoy the (a little...) more manual jobs, too, but programming is the thing I really want to do. The other jobs and the plans of a career in agriculture did, however, give me a sense of how things are done in the "real world" rather than in theory/on a computer. This has helped me a lot even with programming! I try to keep my code sophisticated, but I also try to apply a lot "common sense" - I won't do things the hard and often heavy way just because I can.
All in all, I'm a coder at heart, and I want to make my customers happy. I like coding, but most of all I like to do something worthwhile that is important to somebody else.
Work Terms
I'm flexible regarding my work time. I can spend a lot of my time in a project, if the situation calls for it.
The payment method can also be negotiated.
I communicate mostly through email and messages, though video conferences are also an option. My location limits face-to-face meetings.
