I am an Australian writer living in Sydney. I studied at the University of New South Wales (Australia) earning a distinction in Politics and International Relations and I am currently finishing a Masters of Public International Law at the University of London (United Kingdom).

I'm a full time blogger for my own website, www.matthewalberto.com, which focuses on social entrepreneurship and microfinance. I wrote an ebook

Besides writing, I am passionate about working with non-profit organizations across the world.

For two years I've worked for the United Nations World Food Programme in Bangladesh working towards building livelihood projects with refugees.

Currently, I work with a large number of Australian based charities such as Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT and Sir David Martin Foundation as a grant manager for their fundraising and campaigning sector.
