I am a keen English/Swedish and/or Swedish/English translator. I also always loved writing and I am told I can put an interesting spin on things when I write.

I completed my University degree in Tourism and Sociology here in London and after that I somehow ended up working for a web/audio/video conferencing company as a Client Trainer. I really enjoyed my work, and the company saw potential in me and gave me full responsibility to produce the training as well as writing the instructions etc. I also worked towards the Swedish market, so I was continuously translating between the two languages.

I guess, in a way, I am the perfect translator as I was born in Sweden and of course speak Swedish fluently. I have also lived 15 years of my life in English speaking countries (three years in US and so far 13 years in UK). I think you have to live in a country to be able to speak a language fluently otherwise you have no chance to pick up on slang or different accents. It is so important to get this right in translations.

I also always loved to write and I like to put my own spin on things. I would say I do thoughtful writing when I am given the opportunity. I like to think about things and twist and turn things around so that it is looked at from different views.

Work Terms

I am quite flexible in my working hours and I am able to get a job done quickly if needed. I will of course make sure it is done accurately as well though.
