I am here to write for you. I am most passionate about blogging and online content including social media.

Last year, I had the pleasure of being part of an informal photography internship with Jono & Laynie. It was a wonderful experience where I was able to highlight my strengths and weaknesses and buckle down on the things that worked for me and the ones that didn’t work so well at all. This year will be a bit different in terms of my responsibilities. You’ll see why I am going in a different direction in a minute.

In September, I will be attending Sheridan College in Oakville for print journalism. The course covers everything modern journalists do, including photojournalism, documentary making with a focus on social media. I will have to meet all the same deadlines that real world media outlets have to adhere to as well as help run the school newspaper and participate in work placement. Do you see the tie now? Jono & Laynie have afforded me and opportunity to get my butt in gear and help me focus on what I need to in order to make school a successful endeavor.

On a more personal level, I am a single mother of a very sweet and spritely two year old, ginger boy. He is the center of my universe and a very big part of the reason I am switching gears and getting out of dog grooming (but if anyone wants me to do their pups nails, I will be more than happy to! Just give me a ring.) and into something a little more flexible. I have a keen interest in travel, photography and books … like, actual books. (Oh goodness, the smell of them puts me somewhere close to heaven!). I am half geek, half hippie … that makes me what? A “gippie”? Anything else you’d like to know about me, please feel free to ask.
