CA, CMA, CGMA, MBA, CPA (USA) in Progress

I had been working in Finance & Accounts function for last 14+ years and worked in different areas like Financial Accounting, Financial analyst, Finance partnering role with Sales & marketing team, Supply chain finance, Budgeting and forecasting in different capacities.

I worked for 3.5 years in KPMG and worked on statutory audit of financial statements of different companies and non-profit organizations, internal audit, financial advisory and tax services of numerous clients. While leaving KPMG, I was working as Team leader in several engagements.

I have expertise in Financial statement preparation, Internal control maintenance, Budgeting and forecasting, Accounts payable and receivable, Fixed asset control, Inventory control, Product costing and overhead costing, cost control and developing policies and procedures for different companies. I am a quick learner and able to add value to the organization with my professional knowledge and skill. I try to focus on process improvement, cost savings and profitability improvement rather than maintaining the business as usual.

I had my BBA & MBA (Major in Accounting & Information Systems) from University of Dhaka. In addition to that I have obtained ACMA (Associate Chartered Management Accountant) & CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) designation from Cima, UK and AICPA. Also I am a Fellow Chartered Accountant from the ICAB (a member body of IFAC).

I am currently pursuing CPA - USA.

I have experience in different accounting software namely SAP, Oracle, Quickbook, Xero, Voyager.
