Manlio Carta’s, destined for a future in high fashion came from a very modest background - his mother, a couture dressmaker. Little Manlio Carta enjoys touching the precious tissues and seeing them becoming wonderful garments in his mother’s hands.

With the encouragement of his parents he attended Koefia Academy to study for 3 years with great fashion specialists and at the same time he worked in several fashion houses in Rome. He realized that fashion is an international business and he started his fashion study trip to London, Amsterdam Miami, New York and HK where he got his Fashion Styling Certification, Gemologist-color stone and Master's degree, digital photography.

He worked in Italy for ITR Pettoranello Di Molise with from 1993 to 1999, where he learned couture sewing techniques and construction by operating and making products for ?Dolce & Gabana, Versace, Moschino and Missoni… Also he got the chance to analyze textile texture and composition including different weights ?and thickness of cotton, silk, linen and wool and Explore different blends ?of artificial and natural textile fibers such as acrylic, acetate, polyester, nylon, etc.

When he was working as a Designer Freelance in US he designed and created successful youth couture lines, inspired by the year?700 French styles. As an honor he was selected to be part?of "New York Fashion Week of Winter 2004.” Later he works as an Assistant Designer for CK inc, New York, USA, assisted designers with inspiration and trend research, sketching, and technical packet creation ?for women’s knit department
