Linux Administrator

• A technocrat having 4 years of IT experience in Linux administration.
• Hands on experience with HP, Dell servers.
• Completed Redhat Openstack Administration in Redhat Enterprise Linux 7.
• Experience in coordinating work with various vendors.
• Team building & troubleshooting skills with proven abilities in planning and managing resources.
• Linux Administration on RHEL versions 5, 6 and 7 .
• Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation and patching
• Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes
• Configuring a system to provide networking services, including File Transfer Protocol (FTP), network file system (NFS), secure shell (SSH) and Network Time Protocol (NTP).
• Performance monitoring using PS, TOP, and SAR.
• Job automation using Cron.
• RAID Configuration with various RAID Controllers.
• User account Management.
• Good understanding of Linux boot process.
• Package management, Patching & Upgrade.
• Network configuration and troubleshooting
• DNS, DHCP, Proxy Configuration and troubleshooting.
• Configuration of fileservers using SAMBA, NFS, FTP and troubleshooting.
• Backup and restoration using tar and rsync tools.
• Configuring PXE installation server and kickstart installation.
• Installing, troubleshooting OVO managements tools on Unix\Linux.
• Hands on experience with HP, and Dell servers and management console.

Work Terms

I would like to work as per hour basis and payment should be as per industry norms.
