Translator

Hello. My name is Marcele. I'm a translator graduated from Vilnius University with linguistics of English and Spanish languages. Languages form the area of my interest since school and I willingly keep learning them.

My translating practise started during the university years. But, most importantly, I deepened my knowledge and skills while translating Spanish TV series 'Gran Hotel' for a Lithuanian company 'Aktida' (from Spanish to Lithuanian). It was a big TV media project and, without mentioning, it gave me a great opportunity to improve my translation skills. This job was not only continuous learning but also a fun activity. In fact, I do the jobs asigned for me with an excitement and in a way I combine job with fun.

I am extremely willing to learn further with every translation I get. It is a very interesting work for me since it is not monotonous. Every time it is essential to look for the best variant of translation according to the corresponding context.

Besides translations I don't mind any other type of language connected work: transcriptions, typing or others. I am open minded, therefore, I appreciate any kind of experience because I I'm aware that it does not only strenghten my professional skills but also develops my personal growing.
