I live to write; and write to live. It's my thing – pencils down!
WHO uses Marcie?
Marketing directors and creative directors use me when their agency and/or in-house department is on overload. Small companies use me because they don’t have a marketing department, but know they need to invest in marketing. Entrepreneurs use me to kick start their business.
Many of my clients have stable, growing businesses. Yet, other clients are in start-up phase or in the process of launching a new product.
WHO is Marcie?
I’m a copywriter and brand storyteller who knows how to sell. I originally came from the so-called creative side of copywriting; and yes, I’m good at it as well.
I don’t know about thinking outside of the box…because I’ve never been in it. Thankfully, I don’t need to break out of the content-for-content-sake box that so many writers are trapped in today. Oh, I can write website content, but I write to inform with evergreen content and/or move the reader to a planned action. As a writer and a marketer, I’ve always worked as Google is making others work today…
knowing that great marketing is truth well told.
Additionally, I work with clients beyond copywriting as a marketing strategist or as a brand consultant planning campaigns that maximize results.
So…
If you sell to businesses or consumers in technology, financial, corporate communications or health industries, I may already have experience with your type of product. I also work with other industries, but more importantly, my ability to write clear, concise and persuasive copy may work with your industry.
Here's the most important thing you'll want to know about me...
I believe the first step to great copywriting and marketing is knowing where to start. That means knowing who your customer is, what they believe and how they want to feel.
The best summary I ever read and that marketers/companies need to ask all of the time: “To whom are you offering what ultimate advantage?” – Irving Wunderman
