My name’s Marco, and I play with sounds and words.
I run the record label Naviar Records, make ambient electronic music under the moniker Cryxuss, and am the drummer of psychedelic rock band Aktopasa.
Music has been part of my life and at my side in the time of need for as long as I can remember.
I also write. I started as a translator while living in London after being sacked overnight by a tech-startup. Over the years, I’ve written articles for fashion brands renowned worldwide, acted as a book editor, written art and business essays. I can write both in English and Italian, my native language.
As for my education, through some apparent oversight, I graduated in Arts Management from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. I later earned a diploma in Music Business from the London School of Sound.
Like many others, I’m the result of an unquantifiable amount of mistakes and U-turns, which happened to be my creative side’s favourite form of nourishment.
You may run into me in Treviso or north-London in coffee shops, most likely sipping a very strong coffee and with my headphones on.
