For the last few years, I have worked primarily with JavaScript platforms including Vue, Angular and Node. I also have some experience with TypeScript, ReactJS and React Native. My total programming experience spans 17 years, doing front-end work during the entire period. However, I have also done full-stack and back-end roles.
I worked with PHP for 6 years including 1 year using Laravel. My database proficiencies include MySQL and Mongo. I also recently completed coursework through U of MI on Python.
My workflow tools include Git, Docker, Jenkins and Jira.
I am currently working in freelance roles and am working on an Angular 8 front-end project, and completed a React Native Prototype. My most recent full-stack experience was on a personal project I did which included a front-end written in Vue and a backend written in Node.
My total experience with Javascript platforms is about 4.5 years, with 2.5 years on Angular, 1.25 years working with Vue and 1.5 years working with Node.js and about .5 years with React. I have been doing Responsive Design for at least 6 years. The Angular versions I worked with were 4, and currently I am working with 8. Of course, all front-end roles do require HTML5 and CSS3 which I have been using for years. I also work with Typescript and SASS. I’ve also done data visualization using High Charts.
I do unit and integration testing as a matter of course.
I am most familiar with Agile methodology and have worked either within the Agile model or in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodology for my entire career.
