The Purposeful Psychologist

Hello there!

My name is Maria and I am always looking for fresh and exciting freelance challenges around the globe.

In 2014, I graduated magna cum laude at the University of Ss.Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

In the following years, I gathered significant work experience as a psychologist, including:
- 2 years of internship at the University Clinic of Psychiatry in Skopje
- 1 year of volunteer work at the University Clinic of Oncology in Skopje
- 5 years of full-time employment at the National Institute for Transfusion Medicine

Since 2019, I've been formally studying psychodrama, which is an awesome, deeply cathartic and action-oriented approach to psychotherapy, and I am expected to graduate and obtain a psychotherapist's licence in 2024.

As much as I enjoy being a psychologist, writing is my most essential profession. I've been writing prose and poetry my entire life, I have published two poetry collections so far, and I have been an actively performing artist for a decade. In 2016, I began writing commercially. Soon enough, content writing became one of the best jobs I ever had, allowing me to thoroughly express myself and create work that I am proud of.

That being said, I am at my best when I combine both of my most prominent skillsets - merging mental health science with the magic of wordcraft.

Work Terms

At the current moment, I have 25 hrs/week available for freelance work, but I could be open to bigger projects as well - given that the assignment fits and the conditions are fair.
