Illustrations for young people.

I grew up in a rural area near Buffalo, NY. With glorious willow trees, ponds, the forest, Lake Erie, plenty of animals and insects and home cooking my childhood was filled with imagination which has carried and nurtured into my adult life. I hold dear to me this experience, as well as exciting new ones, which influence every freelance illustration project I work on and am thankful for them.

I attended Savannah College of Art and design from 2001-2005. Upon graduating I delved into freelance work focusing on illustrations for children. Now living near Athens GA in a historic barn renovated into a splendid loft, I enjoy being surrounded by nature, home cooking, and illustrating images that delight and inspire.

Work Terms

Once awarded a project, an agreement will be arranged. This will describe the cost, the work to be done, transfer of rights, estimated timeline and dates, and so on.

The project's working stages include establishing a technique and color palette, review and revisions of sketches, preview and revisions of finals, and the delivery of finals through the Guru website.

Payment is due according to agreed terms through the Guru's SafePay. Please have each milestone funded before work is started for that milestone.
