Work Terms
Scope of Work:
I offer writing services for various formats including blog posts, articles, web copy, social media content, and more. My services include research, writing, and revisions as needed. Specific tasks and deliverables will be outlined in the project brief and agreed upon before the start of the project.
Payment Terms:
All writing services will be invoiced at an agreed-upon rate per word, per hour, or per project. A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the project. Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card. Invoices will be sent at the completion of each milestone, with payment due within 15 days of receipt.
Revisions Policy:
The client is entitled to two rounds of revisions included in the scope of work at no additional cost. Any additional revisions will be charged at an hourly rate of $5. Revisions must be requested within 7 days of receiving the draft or completed work.
Project Timeline:
The project timeline will be agreed upon before the start of the project and will include specific deadlines for each milestone or deliverable. The client is responsible for providing any necessary information or materials needed to complete the project in a timely manner.
Communication Protocol:
Communication will primarily be conducted via email, with regular check-ins and updates as needed. I will respond to emails within 1hour. Additional communication methods, such as phone or video conference, can be arranged as needed.
Copyright Ownership:
Upon receipt of full payment, the copyright for the written work will be transferred to the client. The client is free to use, distribute, and modify the work as they see fit.
Confidentiality Agreement:
All client information and materials will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any third party. Any sensitive information or proprietary materials will be handled with the utmost care and security.
