My career in communication and digital media spans 18 years and my passion for writing has led me to develop a range of techniques and abilities to explore different fields.

Because I've worked on both sides, I keep editorial and marketing separate (and in harmony). I know their very specific demands and how to maintain journalistic integrity, hit marketing targets and satisfy advertisers and readers.

As a journalist, I go through all the steps: I produce, interview, write and edit. I've built my career around pop culture (movies, TV shows, music, comic books and video games), but I also cover technology, health and wellness, and beauty and lifestyle.

As an editor, I have expertise in creating and guiding projects, making strategic decisions, overseeing the workflow and daily operations, managing staff writers and freelancers, building a network of expert collaborators, planning long-term agenda and coverages, and analyzing metrics.

As a copywriter, I love writing compelling web copy (About Me pages, landing pages, product pages, blog and social media posts - making sure that everything is SEO optimized) to keep visitors engaged and lead them to take action. Don’t get me wrong: I do enjoy writing email marketing, newsletters, social media and banner ads. What do I NOT do? I do not run paid social media campaigns or manage partnerships with brands (I am the writer, after all).

Additionally, I have experience with proofreading, curation, story analysis, and scripts for videos and podcasts. I’m an internet heavy user and early adopter of many social networks and apps.
