Finance Professional with more than 8 years of experience. Strong analytical skills. Extended international experience in profitability, costs control and systems implementation.

I started working in my mid-20's in Paris, as an Auditor (KPMG).
I reckon Audit is a great experience for anyone who wants to get some strong finance basis. It teaches you rigour, deadlines, team work. You have to deal with hierarchy, with the clients: interesting diversity of human interactions.

At that time, head-hunters were looking for resources in auditing companies; that what lead me to quit KPMG and become a Financial Controller (Safic Alcan).
I learnt about oil, latex and rubber in this French Trading company based in Paris. There were a few challenges there: implementing a new consolidation software, getting all subsidiaries to send their monthly results on time, working in a men's world.
As the activity was being sold and the company split, I decided to change my finance landscape: I moved to Sydney, Australia. New routine, new lifestyle. Surf attitude!

Between paddles, I was meeting recruiters and connecting with professionals.
Before I could learn how to stand on the board, I was contracted for a year to work as a Financial Analyst at Lagardere.
As my contract ended, I was offered a permanent position as Finance Manager of an advertising agency (Photon Group). Change of industry, different people, creativity: Advertising, where had you been all my life?
Lack of brand positioning, business loss: Shut down of the agency. Success in advertising can be ephemeral.

I started doing yoga between surfing sessions.

A new opportunity came up; I was offered the challenging position of Finance Director for a Sydney-based agency (Publicis Mojo). Revenue profitability, costs control, reorganisation.
A year and a half later, I knew how to stand on the board. And I could teach yoga (Hatha). That was the end of my Australian experience!

I am now an independant Finance Consultant, so I can manage better the international equation work-life balance.

Work Terms

So far, I don't have any preference for working hours; Week days and week ends.
