I write you things.

I am a Poet.
one who writes poetry :
a maker of verses
a wordsmith
born in English classes and libraries
forged by essays and crafted by professors
I’m a poet
Scansion my words and sometimes youll find iambic pentameter, or a trochaic hexameter
Lost in love,lust, or life ,lively I write alliteration
And my pen is an extension of me so I guess that’s personification
I am poet
THAT is not a hyperbole
I wouldn’t give a family of duck what you think
Snap your fingers Bang your tables and shake your keys
Because I am poet
And you cant take that away from me
Because by writing these words
I validate me
So go ahead
rate me
I hope you got a 10

I wrote you my broken heart so it could be cathartic

Spoke my fears of having a son after Tryvon
to inform you
and if you want to have this measuring contest be warned
you will Narfle the Garthok
my metaphors stretch longer then Willy Wonka taffy or Dragon Ball Z fight scenes
I have this ego because my words a fragily
I am a poet
And yes I’m sensitive about my poem
Because it is a piece of me
Respect me
