I have a broad experience within fashion industry as I have had an opportunity to work alongside various menswear designers and desigin brands.
I am a graduate of London College of Fashion BA Menswear course, which I have finished with a distinction.
My design work is modern, sporty reinvented classics with a twist of innovation and technology. During studies I have experimented a lot with fabrics and textiles, which I consider my strongest skill. Work experiences have enabled me to work under tight deadlines in creating moodboards, colour palettes and doing research.
My first experience with fashion was with the British luxury brand Aquascutum where I was working as an assistant garment technologist. My responsibilities there included attending fit sessions, measuring and checking garment samples, writing comments and sending them to factories. I was also responsible for organizing and preparing garment samples for factories shipping.
My technical skills are very good. I truly enjoy technical flat drawings. I was working for KTZ for their SS15 Menswear collection. Working alongside the creative director Marjan Pejoski I was strongly involved in creating and developing my own design ideas. I was also preparing a sales book for the season where I could use my technical drawing skills. I have also worked along with the team during the catwalk show at London Fashion Week.
I have also worked along with the design team of Saville Row no1. brand Gieves and Hawkes where I was making mood boards and fabric boards. I was also preparing spec sheets ready for production as well as making changes on already excising garment specs after fit sessions. This experience has helped me to work along a different client and aesthetics. I gained knowledge about fabrics, mills, production processes as well as tailoring.
