I am a children’s book writer and editor. I work primarily on picture books and early readers. I write poetry, realistic fiction, science fiction, fantasy, humor, nonfiction, and more. I specialize in ghostwriting and line editing but provide other related services as well.

I have a Master of Arts degree in creative writing and more than a decade of writing and editing experience. I am also familiar with Lexile levels and Common Core academic standards in both math and ELA/literacy.

I’ve spent years working as both a language arts tutor and a science educator. I’ve worked with readers and learners of all ages, but I have a particular passion for early childhood literacy.

I love writing interesting and imaginative stories. I also love helping children engage with the world around them in ways that are fun, affirming, and educational. The books children read or have read to them at a young age influence the way they see themselves and the world around them for the rest of their lives. I love being a part of that.
