Information and network security consultant with 30+ years of I. T. experience. Performs security program reviews, architecture of security solutions and pre-audit preparedness reviews. Also a McAfee Certified Product Specialist and Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer. Recent Projects:

Security Consulting
• 8 month contract building out a S.O.C. for an MSSP to service existing and new clients. Included analyzing hosted infrasrtructure, architecting security solutions, directing the installation of solutions and training personel.
• 6 month contract architecting, planning and directing the implementation of perimeter security solutions for a large international retail chain with a major online presence.
• 1 year providing guidance for a large national hospital managemnt company on equiping, staffing and training their S.O.C.. This included policies, procedures, incident reponse protocols and forensic methods.

McAfee Web Gateway
• Deployed and configured 13 MWG as reverse proxies for a state tax website.
• Deployed and configured of 2 MWG with ATD in a datacenter for a large managed service provider in Australia.

McAfee Network Security Platform (NTBA & ATD)
• McAfee NSP with NTBA and ATD Health check and rules tuning for a managed service provider in North Carolina.
• McAfee NSP with NTBA install for a Texas based company with 100+ healthcare facilities in the U.S.

McAfee Security Information Event Manager (DEM, ADM & MVM)
• McAfee SIEM with MVM, and NSP Health check and rules tuning for a large tech company in Texas with datacenters around the world.
• Deployment and configuration of a McAfee SIEM for a medical device manufacturer in Mineapolis.
• Deployment and configuration of a McAfee SIEM with DEM, ADM and MVM for a large federal government agency in Virginia.

Palo Alto Firewall
• Health Check, optimization and re-configuration of 12 Palo Alto firewalls for a large shipping company in Texas.

Work Terms

I will travel worldwide.

Payment terms: All payments must be through Guru.com. All on-site engagements are a minimum of 1 week (40 hours). I charge a flat rate which includes travel and expenses. I require a 50% deposit prior to booking all services. The rates are as follows (all funds are in US dollars):
Continental United States, Canada and Mexico:
• Onsite – $7,500 per week
• Remote – $4,500 per week
Alaska, Hawaii, South America and the Caribbean:
• Onsite – $8,000 per week
• Remote – $4,750 per week
Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand and Oceana:
• Onsite – $9,000 per week
• Remote – $5,000 per week
Europe and Euro-Asia:
• Onsite – $10,000 per week
• Remote – $5,250 per week
Middle East and Africa:
• Onsite – $11,000 per week
• Remote – $5,500 per week

Communication: I am available by Skype, phone, email, or IM. Important information must be documented in Guru.com. Daily progress will be documented in Guru.com.

Availability: I am available all the time unless on another project.
