Freelance writer and editor from NZ, based in Nepal. Can write high-quality text on any topic. Reliable, friendly, and communicative.
My story in a single sentence: finished high school; travelled around India for a year; completed a BA in History; worked for Listverse (editing) and Minaal (customer support); and began studying medicine in Australia. Most recently, I have taken a year's leave from med school and moved to Nepal to focus on my writing aspirations.
My experience includes having been the chief editor of Listverse, a popular entertainment website, as well as editor of Placebo, a medical school magazine. I also contributed to both of these publications: among other things, I conducted interviews with Médecins Sans Frontières and the Fred Hollows Foundation, and wrote essays and book reviews.
I pride myself on delivering a consistently high-quality product. I will communicate clearly with you, and if I do not believe that I can satisfy your brief, I will be honest and say so. My services are also affordably priced (because every dollar goes a long way in Nepal).
My hobbies (since this is a bio after all) include travel, hiking, reading, writing (!), skiing, music, art, campfires, and wine.
Work Terms
My hours of operation are flexible, but should be within 7am and 10pm in Nepal (GMT+5:45). Preferred communication is via email, but I can also Skype when necessary.
