Hello,
Previously, I was an Auditor for the agro-industry department of a major international certification agency.
Some of my tasks were :
- Realization of certification audits in the agro-food and agricultural sectors
- Multiple public and private references with the actors of the different stages of the sector: production, processing, import, distribution (Organic Farming EU, GLOBALG.A.P, PDO, Integrated Fruit Production, Organic Cosmetics, ...) as well as the approval concerning advice, sale and use of plant protection products)
- Planning, interventions and administrative work in autonomy
By the past, I was also a Technician in Geographic Information System for the French Ministry of Agriculture.
I was attached to the Head Office Department of Territories (DDT) at the Bureau of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development (SEADER)
I worked in these fields :
- Cartography
- Database update
- Technical support to customers
- Support for European CAP dossier reporting
Before my studies in Agronomy, I did several university courses as :
- Arts (specially Cinema and Performing Arts)
- Philosophy
- Social Sciences
I conducted several professional experiences where the use of a foreign language was essential ; where my colleagues and me spoke mainly in english as well as german, spanish or italian.
I traveled around few countries that are Spanish-speaking, in South America, Bolivia, Peru and Colombia for instance ; and i was living during one year in the South of Spain.
I also traveled through Asia and India.
My various formations, my determination and my multiple work experiences help me learn some adaptability, some methodology, and also an open mind.
I'm now focusing on freelance Translator / web content Writer jobs.
Concomitantly, I take advantage of my free time to deepen my computer skills and I work on personal projects.
