You have a vision - help me accomplish it.
I've been writing since I could hold a pen, so much so that apparently, between the ages of 6 and 13, I had a problem with my hands. The story goes that one winter, I found my knuckles swelling painfully. For years, it was believed that I had a sensitivity to the cold, so much so that I had to wear gloves in PE while everyone else had to play sports with their bare hands (lucky me, I hated PE!). I then found that, according to my GP, it wasn't the cold at all - it's that I was using my fingers so much to write that when I stopped for using them as regularly, it resulted in the swelling.
What was the point of that story? Well as my mother once said, "Son, you write so much you'll probably die with a pen in your hands." Some things never change, eh?
