I'm Mattia, a music professional specializing in music production and sound design, and I'm based in London. My passion for sound and music dates back to my childhood, and it has been a driving force throughout my life. I pursued my passion further by earning a first-class degree in "Music and Sound Design" from London South Bank University.

During my time at university, I gained valuable knowledge in the intersection of music and technology, becoming proficient in various Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Ableton, Logic Pro X, and FMOD Studio. This education not only expanded my technical skills but also opened doors for me to work on numerous audio projects for films and video games, blending my love for music with the visual and interactive aspects of media.

In September 2022, I completed my academic journey by earning a "MMus Sonic Arts" degree from Goldsmiths University of London. This program provided me with the opportunity to explore a wide range of creative approaches to studio-based music, including fixed-media composition, improvisation systems, sound art installation, and composition for video and film.

Under my artistic aliases, M.F.S: Observatory for the techno scene and Tia - Mellow for ambient and electronic music, I've released music on several influential record labels in the electronic music sector. It has been an incredible journey, and I've had the honor of collaborating with established artists like Maya Jane Coles.

Beyond my work as a producer, I'm also a performing musician and DJ. In addition, I'm the owner, co-founder, and manager of Observatory Music, a techno label that reflects my commitment to the electronic music community. Music has been my life's passion, and I'm excited to continue my journey in the ever-evolving world of electronic music and sound design.
