Experienced legal assistant, providing catered office support on a project-by-project basis, and looking to build a professional portfolio as a document proofreader/editor.
I have a passion for document proofreading, editing, and formatting and am constantly learning to improve my skills. I graduated from the University of Washington with an English degree and have worked in various legal offices, as well as other settings providing office and administrative support. Currently, I am employed with the Attorney General's office, but am looking to build a professional portfolio offering document editing and proofreading services to supplement my income. I have had casual experience editing college essays for peers, as well as producing brochures and other formal written work on a volunteer-basis for a colleague's non-profit.
