This was our first project with Amrit from K.E. Design. While these were not highly complex design efforts, each part required attention to detail, including optimization for manufacturing. One part is a sheet metal bracket to hold an industrial logger. Another part is a specialized pipe clamp and sensor receptacle. Throughout the project, Amrit provided frequent and thorough communication and was responsive to design questions, ideas, and changes. Although the project was over original estimates, part of this was due to incremental improvements made during the design process, as well as dealing with some unusual thread sizes that required some additional investigation on our end. The ultimate test of Amrit's design skill will come once we build our first prototypes and then production runs. Amrit seems well versed in Solidworks and we are talking about possible 3D printing of some prototypes. We have more projects in the pipeline and I look forward to working with Amrit in future endeavors.
