About

Power System Engineering Activities (Renwable energy, Distribution & Transmission System, Low voltage systems)

As an electrical & electronics engineer, I have specialized in power systems engineering and worked in
various roles and projects (both R&D and industrial projects) related to distribution systems,
transmission systems, electricity generation and renewable energy (i.e. inverter-based resources).
My professional experience consists of roles which are senior power system expert at MRC, grid
connection engineer at Siemens Gamesa, power system engineer at Monotech Elektrik. In MRC, I
involved in transmission and distribution network development projects. Here, I led the team and
guided the juniors throughout the project. I also involved in preparation of deliverables/reports. In
Siemens Gamesa, I was dealing with grid connection problems and works of Wind Farms such as grid
code analysis, inverter CCU parameters determination, MV switchgear selection & design and protection
coordination/selectivity studies support. In Monotech, my first workplace, I involved in various and
plenty of power system studies such as HEPP, SEPP projects, feasibility studies, special projects for
power plants (especially for thermal energy and hydroelectric power plants), protection & system
design (HV, MV, LV systems).
Besides the experiences mentioned above, I am also the co-founder of Electravis. In this company, I
conducted power quality projects, SEPP projects, protection coordination studies for distribution
network projects. Additionally, I built a generic script calculating load flow, short circuit fault currents
and making device settings for protection coordination.
My educational background includes pursuing a Master of Science degree in Electrical Power Systems at
Middle East Technical University. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronics
Engineering from the same institution. During my academic journey, I also worked as a part-time Power
System R&D Engineer at Middle East Technical University, where he focused on developing algorithms
for system state prediction and analyzing power quality problems.
Finally, I am proficient in tools such as DIGSILENT Powerfactory, MATLAB, Simulink, AutoCAD, MS Office.
I also have a good understanding of electricity and a comprehensive background in natural sciences.
