Multilingual Expert Bridging Cultures through Translation, IT Security, and Event Management
With over a decade of enriching experience, I stand at the crossroads of languages and cultures, offering specialized translation and interpretation services across English, French, Spanish, and Arabic. My journey began in Granada, Spain, where I embraced the nuances of languages, leading to a BA in Translation and Interpretation, followed by further studies in Conflict Studies at Ottawa University, Canada.
My professional path has been diverse, ranging from ensuring secure document translation in finance, law, and technical sectors to facilitating multicultural community services in Ottawa and Toronto. As a translator/interpreter and social service/settlement worker, I've contributed to encrypted communication, data protection, and provided settlement services for immigrants and refugees, enhancing cross-cultural understanding.
In addition to my translation work, my experience extends to IT security, project management, and event planning, where I've managed arts programming and executed marketing strategies for music events. These roles have honed my skills in IT security protocols, Adobe Suite, CAT tools, and MS Office, alongside developing effective communication strategies for diverse teams and client groups.
Outside of work, I am committed to personal growth, exploring new technologies, and engaging with different cultures. My hobbies and personal interests reflect my professional dedication to understanding and bridging diverse worlds.
I am excited to bring my expertise to your projects, offering not just translation services, but a comprehensive, culturally informed approach to communication and security in our increasingly globalized world.
