I have been a lecturer in English for over twenty years, most recently at Missouri University of Science & Technology and Drury University, where I have taught everything from composition to creative writing.

I have provided freelance writing for a number of projects including Missouri S&T online and alumni magazines, Missouri S&T Distance & continuing Education marketing brochures, Pi Kappa Alpha 100 Year Anniversary production script, Sam's Club/ Auto Buying club newsletters, Whistler electronics marketing products, Missouri S&T Alumni brochures, The Oxygen Company, Inc. website, and others.

I am the author of an instructional guide on the novel The Outsiders, published by Teacher’s Discovery in 2005. I have published articles in Common Boundary, American Literary Realism and The Quest. I have won numerous awards for poetry, including the Springfield Writer’s Guild Grand Prize (1998) and the Johnson Memorial Grand Prize Award, League of Minnesota Poets (2003). My poems have appeared in Midwest Poetry Review and Potpourri.

Work Terms

I normally charge $35 per hour for writing and editing.
