My name is Melissa Bates, I am 29 years of age and I graduated from California State University of Northridge with a BA in 2D Design, with an emphasis in Photography and Graphic Design. I have recently ended my contract with Google. My previous employment prior to google was as an executive assistant/house manager in Valley Village, Ca to a celebrity comedic actor. This occupation has taught me the fundamentals of maintaining the daily routine of a family of seven. On a daily basis, I was given new tasks to complete and because of this I have become a brilliant multi-tasker. I had various job titles within the home and I enjoyed exceeding in each one while wearing a smile. Some of my duties included: Travel arrangements, scheduling, running errands, designing menus, cooking, layout design, planning events, flower arrangements, organizing the house, handling finances/home office and the list continues. I handled all his accounts for both his personal life as well as his corporation. I greatly valued this experience because I have been placed in many situations that have taught me to formulate a plan to achieve the best result. Prior to this, I worked as an administrative assistant for 5 years. My Duties Included: Heavy phone calls, customer service, data entry, processing payments and filing. I am motivated and determined when working to accomplish any task. I would love the chance to work for you.
