Hello,

My name is Melissa Keegan and I am a graphic designer from Long Island. I specialize in photo retouching, invitations, flier, logo and book design, and much more.

My professional and academic experiences are as a Graphic Designer. I attended C.W. Post as a Fine Arts major and then continued to study at SUNY Farmingdale. In 2007 I received a Bachelor Degree with Honors in Visual Communications.

Throughout college, I have worked with many clients including the UCPA of Nassau County, CancerCare®, and The L.I. Housing Partnership, Inc. In a team based project, we placed silver in the 2007 BOLI competition. I also worked for Neighborhood Newspapers, where I produced ads for Long Island based companies.

Since graduating, I have taken on freelancing and have worked as a Production/Graphic Artist at various Long Island based companies. I am also featured with online sites such as Elance.com and DesignContest.com where I have established some great clientele.

Through word of mouth and hard work I have been growing my freelancing experience. I understand both design and print, which pushes me to make a better final product. Being detail orientated and having great customer service experience has helped me develop over the years repeated customers. I am writing to you today to see if you have any need or interest in having a freelancer to help you with those busy times or special events.
