Chalkboard Art Signage to Showcase Your Business
I believe that art is for everyone and can take many forms. I don't make a distinction between "high art" and "commercial art." One of my biggest pleasures is in collaborating with a client to express to create work that conveys their brand. Because I have studied marketing; I understand the challenges that a business faces in conveying their message - and enjoy using my skills to make signs that draw attention to your products.
I’ve always done art. I sat at the family butcher block kitchen table as a kid making scribble crayon drawings. I inherited that table and I still love creating on it. Art helped me to communicate with the world, what words could not express, to show people what I saw in my mind’s eye.
I was given scholarships to Moore College of Art and the Philadelphia College of Art for to study figure drawing, during high school. I earned a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania (1990) sub-matriculating in the Graduate School of Fine Arts and a Masters of Initial Teaching from Gonzaga University (2003). I am a proud graduate of the Artist Trust’s Edge program (2006), and completed the Uplevel Gold Academy with Christine Kane who mentors creative professionals in 2013. I taught the Commercial Art at the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center in Port Angeles from from 2012-2017 and for Lincoln High School 2006-2017.
I am owned by two black cats (Norbert and Raspustin), two Percheron draft horses (April Hester Prynne, Hawthorne Garth Lewis Klein the First) and one Border Collie (Storm).
