I am currently a full-time college student and the co-editor of fiction for the literary magazine distributed on campus. My major is English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. My career goals are to be a young adult fiction editor and writer. I have been known as a "grammar natzi" because I pay close attention to detail and am able to correct any flaws in someone's writing. I have some experience with editing and proofreading, but I decided to use Guru.com to gain even more experience outside of college and also to learn the importance of the author-editor relationship. I want to become the kind of editor that my authors can rely on and trust.

Work Terms

I may be a full-time student, but my hours are pretty flexible and I work cheap since I'm still learning. The amount I charge varies depending on the task you give me. For example, if you want me to proofread a small document or something, that's probably going to be cheaper than editing a novel. My preferred method of communication is email. I check it regularly throughout the day, every day.
