Crafting Digital Experiences: Where Precision Meets Creativity for Reliable, User-Centric Web Solutions
I’m Mercy Ogalo, a passionate frontend developer from Kenya, driven by the desire to create meaningful web experiences that not only look good but also function seamlessly. My journey into the world of coding began in high school when I discovered my love for computers. I knew then that this was the career for me. After high school, I decided to follow my dream by applying for the She Codes Foundation scholarship, which I was fortunate enough to receive. This scholarship was the starting point where I gained my foundational knowledge and began my journey in web development.
Following this, I enrolled at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where I’m currently pursuing a degree in Business Information Technology. It was during my time here that my passion for web development truly flourished and immersed myself in learning and experimenting with various web technologies, and my love for creating functional and beautiful websites grew stronger with each project.
My work experience includes an internship at CodeSoft InfoTech, where I had the opportunity to work on various frontend projects. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React to real-world applications. I focused on building responsive and user-friendly websites, which not only met but exceeded the expectations of clients. One of my proudest moments was developing a weather app that integrates real-time data using APIs, a project that taught me the importance of precision and user engagement.
In addition to my technical skills, I’ve also learned the value of effective communication and time management, especially when working with international teams. My approach is always client-centric; I believe in understanding the needs and vision of my clients to deliver solutions that truly reflect their goals.
Outside of work, I have a few passions that keep me grounded and inspired. I love watching movies;there’s something about storytelling that resonates with me, perhaps because I see a parallel between crafting a good narrative and coding a great website. Both require creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of the audience. I also enjoy visiting new places, as it feeds my curiosity and provides me with fresh perspectives that I often bring into my work. And, of course, coding isn’t just my job;it’s my hobby. I spend a good chunk of my free time experimenting with new technologies, building small projects and constantly improving my skills.
Honesty is a value I hold dear, both in my personal life and in my professional dealings. I believe that transparent communication and integrity are the cornerstones of any successful collaboration. My clients can always expect me to be upfront and straightforward, ensuring that there are no surprises along the way.

Work Terms
I’m available to work 5 hours a day during the daytime, but I’m flexible and willing to extend my hours if the project requires urgency. Payment terms will be mutually agreed upon to ensure both parties are satisfied. For seamless collaboration, all communication will be conducted through the app, ensuring everything stays clear and organized.
