Software Engineer and Architect looking for interesting challenges

I've been writing code professionally for almost ten years now. I am specifically interested in things like functional programming, concurrency and distributed systems, artificial intelligence and cloud architecture and deployment.
I've built web applications for everything from large government entities to small early stage startups, and I've enjoyed all of the challenges I've faced so far. I'm looking to expand my technical skills and take on new and interesting challenges as a freelancer.

Work Terms

I work remotely, and outside of business hours. I try to limit my freelancing engagements to around 20 hours a week. Any form of communication works for me, and I am willing to kick off a project with an in person meeting should that be required.
