Expert front-end development (HTML,CSS,JS), with extensive PHP/MySQL back-end experience to boot!
What started as a hobby in my early teenage years has grown into a 14+ year career in web development during which I have seen numerous technologies come and go, and I have loved every step of the way.
My first work language was ColdFusion, but that quickly gave way to the wonderful world of Open Source, where I excelled at PHP/MySQL based websites. As front-end frameworks became more advanced, I turned my focus there, while still maintaining my abilities in the server-side code that supports them.
My expertise is now in HTML/CSS/JS (jQuery, vue.js, and other frameworks/libraries) and responsive web development. I am still very capable any time PHP/MySQL work is needed, and have been delving into node.js-based websites as well.
Prior projects have included government websites, private corporate back-end projects, event/real estate reservations systems, as well as informational websites for numerous clients throughout the years. I have worked with off-the-shelf CMS systems as well as completely custom-built solutions.
Personal hobbies include camping, performing in community theater, and spending time with my large, active family.
Work Terms
I freelance in the evenings from 7:00-11:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. I am available via email, skype, and telephone during those hours.
I prefer to be paid via SafePay on a weekly/bi-weekly schedule.
