I am Michael Horan and I have been in the IT business since 1986.
I provided client implentation and support 1986 to 1994.
I have been managing IT with hands on from 1995 to late 2021 for Financial Data Centers, Manufacturing and Manage Service Providers.
My 35 years of experience has allowed me to do infrastructure planning and design, research and test the latest technology to recommend and install in the businesses I managed or for a client to improve productivity. I have planned, implemented and administrated a variety of firewalls, VPNs to and from offices or from office to Azure, Hybrid from on-prem to Azure tenant, new Azure setup with virtual servers and SMB storage, Azure Virtual Desktop (VDI), Windows 365, Office 365 to Workspace and vice versa convertions, Office 365 and Workspace apps, a variety of on-prem and cloud backup solutions, wireless solutions, legacy and EDR with AI endpoint security, DNS, ADDS, Group Policy, other server services, DNS security, NAS and Storage arrays, VMWare, Hyper-V, compliance, risk management, a variety of IT controls. Creation of user guides as a whole or per end user department or skills, product manuals, troubleshooting guides, implemenation/how to guides, network diagrams, network risk assessment, IT business standards and requirements. and other IT technology necessary to improve network stability and increase productivity.
Work Terms
I am open to all hours of the day to accomodate the client. My fee is $85 per hour and is negotiable. I can be reached via email or Telegram messenger.
