Ghostwriter, Author, Freelance Editor and Writing Coach
After 40 years as a trial attorney, which included being a writing coach to young attorneys, and 24 parallel years as a high school basketball coach, I decided to devote himself primarily to professional writing.
Since the end of 2015, I have authored or co-authored several books. I co-authored Play It Forward: From Gymboree to the Yoga Mat and Beyond (Agate Publishing 2016); Odds-On Basketball Coaching: Crafting High-Percentage Strategies for Game Situations (Rowman & Littlefield 2017); The Other Classroom: The Essential Importance of High School Athletics (Rowman & Littlefield 2018); Prepping for Success: The Comprehensive Handbook for the Beginner High School Basketball Coach (A&I Publishing 2019), My Life: A Story of Resilience and (Page Publishing 2019); Let's Get It: the Hustle and Grind Way to Self-Empowerment (Wordzworth Publishing 2020); The Devil in Disguise (Koehler Books, release date: April 2021).
My debut novel, Truth is in the House, will be released in April 2021 (Koehler Books).
In addition, I evaluate manuscripts and write book proposals and edit (and ghostwrite) a wide range of long and short social media posts, web content, articles, college application essays, speeches and blogs, speeches and articles.
I also represent writers in querying literary agents, as well as publishers who accept unagented submissions.
My legal career gifted me a continuous opportunity to be the voice of countless clients, telling their stories with passion and purpose. Each client story was unique, each presented a dynamic and rewarding learning curve. The same is true for the ghostwriting and editing work I do. I get great joy from giving expression to the voices of others and impacting targeted audiences in enduring ways.
