FACTORY EDGE DESIGN is the home of Irish designer and illustrator, Mike O’Dwyer. Operating since 2009, he has created identities, websites, imagery, campaigns, books and products.
Mike O’Dwyer attended the NCAD, studying a degree in Visual Communications. Upon graduating he built a professional portfolio, learned web coding, worked in a sign company, recession hit, cutbacks were needed, so he set up his own business, Factory Edge Design. Since then, he has been very lucky to work for President Michael D. Higgins in his winning election, Trócaire designing campaign materials for European Climate Awareness, developed a website and brand elements for Ireland’s lowest carbon-footprint meat supplier, designed the RTE-acclaimed cover for the award winning album of music from Tuam “Songs from a Broken Wheel” and learned how to play “Classical Gas” on the guitar. The latter possibly being his greatest achievement to date.
