Efficient, fail safe error checks, and quality user experience through the use of Microsoft Excel and Access. Making your processes faster, easier, and more pleasant to use.
In my first job out of college, my supervisor told me my project was to put this report into Access. I responded "I don't know Access", and she told me to figure it out. Figure it out I did, and ever since then I've been focused on putting processes and reports into Access and Excel so as to increase efficiency and decrease errors. I have done so for both internal and external customers, learning as I've needed new skills, and finding a way to get just about anything done as I had visioned to be possible.
The biggest project I have done in Excel is put an entire rating manual into an interactive Excel worksheet, complete with pop-up user interactive forms, macros, and VBA. In Access I have put together a database replacing a procedure that used to take up to a week between the work and error checking (and fixing), with the new database normally taking less than one day with no errors.
I was able to reduce a full-time job to one that takes an average of ten hours a week! I believe that there is a lot of time being wasted in companies today, and I strive to reduce time and errors on routine tasks so people can get more work done in less time so that there is more time leftover for their life outside of work...
Work Terms
I can work all hours. If given all essential information to complete the job, I can get the work done while you sleep in your bed.
