I'm an Austin-based strategist. Cultural anthropology is my jam. Technology fascinates me.
While I am big-picture thinker, I know success in today's digital world demands getting your hands dirty. I'm not afraid of rigor. You tend to get out what you put in.
I'm a rare type of strategist. I started my career in account service which gave me the insight into what clients need to achieve their business goals. But my 15 years of experience in account planning let me dig into consumer culture to create strategies that help brands innovate and find creative white space to thrive in the future.
I was born in Dallas, and raised outside Dallas by Lake Ray Hubbard. I was a lucky kid in that we went out on the lake at least 3 times a week, often times after school. Skiing, fishing and driving as fast as we could across the water punctuates my memories. I am still an outdoors girl but now like to go hiking, downhill skiing, and camping. A boat of my own is on my list.
From an early age, I was deemed the IT department in the house. I hooked up the VCRs, cable boxes, and the Apple IIc. I still am today in the home I share with my husband and daughter. We probably have more devices, apps and storage networks than we really need. I look at it this way: this world is too exciting not to play a little.
