I'm a former customer service/tech support desk jockey (21 years of service with Verizon) who learned a great deal about talking to customers, problem solving, critical thinking, selling the benefits of products and services, leadership, and teamwork. I didn't get to use my writing skills too often but I have written training and newsletters for the job before. And, my last several years have been spent in chat/messaging where written communication is the only thing.
I've left that role for a new start working for myself. I'm focusing on my fiction writing, specifically writing and publishing novels and short stories. I want to supplement that through freelance writing jobs. It's a whole new beginning folks! Time to get serious.
Work Terms
I prefer communication via e-mail. My working hours are Monday through Friday starting at 10 AM central time U.S. Pay is negotiable depending on the work.
