About

I am a Spanish native speaker, from Guatemala, fluent in English and French (oral and written including proper use of grammar in both languages). I studied English all through my formal education, and passed the English graduation examinations required to acquire my College degree, equivalent to a TOEFL level.

I worked for 8 years with a French institution, so I took French courses in the local Alliance Francaise achieving the "Diplome d'etudes en langue francaise - Niveau B2". This daily interaction with French, while been a Spanish native speaker, who is used to read and write in English, gave me the skills I’ve been using now to develop my business as a translator, proofreader and editor.

I understand how important it is to my clients to achieve the highest level of comprehension from readers, so I put special care in using the different ways of writing and phrasing in each language.
