My name is Michelle, I'm a college graduate, and I've been in a BPO company for 5 years. BPO stands for Business Process Outsourcing that involves contracting the operations and responsibilities for a particular business process to a third-party service provider.
My job as a call center agent is to obtains client information by answering telephone calls; interviewing clients; verifying information. Determines eligibility by comparing client information to requirements. Establishes policies by entering client information; confirming pricing. And also, deal with customers via telephone, Internet, e-mail and instant messaging. Call center agent work in telephone call centers or multimedia contact centers, handling a variety of functions, including customer service, technical support, telesales and customer contact. As an agent, I make an important contribution to customer satisfaction by providing a prompt, efficient and courteous service to callers.

Hours of operation: 30-40hours per week or more depends on the project.
